We would hope the Secretary of HOMELAND security would be as concerned about the southern border of her own HOMELAND.
But this is the reality.....

VA State Police Chaplain actually invoked the name of Jesus Christ during prayer at memorial ceremony for fallen troopers.
In 2008, former Democrat governor Tim Kaine (also current chairman of the Democrat National Committee) ordered the state police chaplains to only deliver "non-denominational" prayers at public services.
Virginia ACLU (Anti-Christian Lawyers Union) says the reinstitution of such prayers could trigger a lawsuit.
Obama's director of Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) suggests that the Obama government may not process illegals caught under the Arizona illegal immigration enforcement law.
The Arizona law mirrors the federal law. That means that ICE may REFUSE to obey the oath they swore to uphold.
17 state legislatures working on bills similar to Arizona's to attempt to get control of criminal illegal alien problems.

Right in the first sentences you will see that the law is written to formalize and define processes for Arizona law enforcement officials to "cooperate with" and enforce the federal immigration laws already on the books. There is no new ground being broken here.
But you wouldn't know that from listening to the LIES from Obama, Holder, Napolitano, Gibbs and others....or the silence from the mainstream media.

One thing gun owners won’t hear this weekend is whether the NRA is for or against adding Elena Kagan to the Supreme Court. An NRA spokesman tells us it hasn’t completed its vetting of Kagan yet.
Kagan lacks a written judicial record on the right to bear arms. But the NRA likely is unhappy with her role in the Clinton administration’s gun-control efforts.

There was no rampant looting.
There were no murders in the streets.

No cops or fireman were gunned down.
Nobody was shooting at the emergency helicopters.
These people didn't have five days warning that a disaster was coming.
These people didn't just sit on their asses and wait for the government to do something.

This is middle America where people respect each other and understand that a community has to come together during an emergency.

On September 12, 2008 Obama said, "I can make a firm pledge. Under my plan, no family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase. Not your income tax, not your payroll tax, not your capital gains taxes, not any of your taxes."
However, just SIXTEEN DAYS after he was sworn in, Obama signed a bill that raised the federal tax on tobacco products 161%!
As you will see later, the administration has NO CLUE how much ObamaCare will cost taxpayers. So who knows what new taxes we will face.
Now, Obama will be asked to sign the Democrat budget completed this week. In this budget is a change that will cost over 30 MILLION middle-class taxpayers an average of $3,700 each.
Will Obama veto this tax increase.... or will this be just another broken promise....just another blatant, bald-faced Barack Obama LIE to the American people.
Kathleen Sebelius is an Obama cabinet member. She is the head of the Department of Health and Human Services. Under ObamaCare, Sebelius will be the #1 decision maker on all costs, rationing, end-of-life care, whether or not you will get the tests you need.....all of it. She is in charge.
In front of a congressional committee, Kathleen Sebelius admitted the Obama administration HAS NO IDEA what the cost of ObamaCare will be.

NC Attorney General plays politics instead of standing for North Carolina citizens.

"So far, the attorneys general of thirteen states have joined together to formally challenge the constitutionality of the recently passed comprehensive healthcare reform law.
".....Democrat Attorney General, Roy Cooper, has said, “No”, he will not join other states and defend North Carolina citizens against this unconstitutional mandate. He said, “Health insurance reform and access to health care are policy decisions that should be decided by elected representatives, not by appointed federal judges.” That isn’t the challenge. The challenge is the provision of mandating the purchase of insurance. He fails to acknowledge that it is the judiciary’s responsibility to determine the legality and constitutionality of laws passed by legislative bodies.
".....legal scholars, and the Democrats and Republicans who opposed the law, point out that while the Commerce Clause allows federal regulation of interstate commerce, it does not allow the federal government to MANDATE that people must engage in commerce. The new law congressional Democrats passed says we must….. Or we will face serious federal penalties."

That's up from the Tax Foundation's 2006 estimate that 41% of the American population, or 121 million Americans, were completely outside the federal income tax system.
"If one has no financial stake in our country, how much of a say-so should he have in its management? Let's put it another way: I do not own stock, and hence have no financial stake, in Ford Motor Co. Do you think I should have voting rights or any say-so in the management of the company? I'm guessing that the average sane person's answer is no."

It seems we never learn from history.....
In 1976 the Democrats convinced us to vote for "change".
We did, and we suffered a terrible recession, the Iranian hostage crisis, gas rationing and lines at the pumps, 20% mortgages and double-digit inflation.
But, we forgot and we got suckered into voting for "change" again in 2008.
Unemployment is nearly 10%, the national debt has tripled, we are an apologizing embarrassment around the world, we are dumping on our allies, we are surrendering in the war against Islamic terrorism, and we are being laughed at by the Iranians once again.
In the 1930's we were told that we would see "progress" by building the communist party in the United States.
We thought we were smart and we rejected the communists. But we surrendered to the false prosperity of New Deal socialism under FDR.
In 2008 the path to progress was again promised.
And, again, we are rapidly being swallowed up by a socialist administration that owns our car companies, owns our banks, controls our healthcare services, takes our hard-earned money and gives it away to deadbeats, mandates what the foods we are allowed to eat, even limits the salaries we can earn and the hours we can work.

Congressional Democrats say private employers MUST hire homosexuals and transvestites even if that hiring goes against their Christian or family values.
Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA) requires ANY private employer with 15 or more employees to ignore their personal or religious values.
Homosexuals, crossdressers, transvestites and transgenders cannot be denied employment, no matter what the private employer's values may be.
For example, a small construction company that wanted to maintain a Christian reputation could be sued if it refused to hire transvestites.
''I am now confident that we will be getting a vote on ENDA.
The fact is, there was no chance of getting [Pelosi] to focus on this until health care was done. Health care is now done.''

ENDA already has 198 co-sponsors. The Dems only need 219 votes to pass it.

When Obama signed his ObamaCare bill on March 23, he said,
"This legislation will also lower costs for families and for businesses and for the federal government, reducing our deficit by over $1 trillion in the next two decades. It is paid for; it is fiscally responsible."
Two days later in Iowa, Obama said,
"Costs will come down for families and businesses and the federal government, reducing our deficit by more than $1 trillion over the next two decades,"
Both of those statements were bald-faced LIES!
